Welcome to more of my Coventry photos: -

The spires looked nice during this sunset.

And Holy Trinity church spire caught the sun too.... viewed from inside the ruins of the old cathedral.
In the ruins of the Old Cathedral are remains of the tall pillars that once stood high. This one still contains part of the spiral staircase which led to the pulpit where the vicar climbed up to talk to the congregation.

In August 2005 we also saw a choir practicing in the ruins of the Old Cathedral. They sounded lovely as they stood singing behind the Statue of Reconciliation.
In Hill Street you can find Bond's Hospital which is about 500 years old. Here is the quiet courtyard through the arched gateway.

Over 300 years ago Coventry was completely surrounded by a City Wall. This long part is near Cox Street opposite the elephant shaped Sports Centre. It was the last part of the wall to be built.
This nice old car was parked outside the Cathedrals in Priory Street.
I have many more photos of cars and other transport on another page....
